As you are likely aware our PM commuter services have been experiencing considerable delays whilst travelling along the Victoria Embankment in recent weeks. We would like to apologise to you for these delays and confirm that we have been monitoring our southside route with a view to diverting services to lessen the impact of the congestion.

Through our monitoring we believe that diverting south of the River Thames will reduce the delays and help us maintain our scheduled journey times. Therefore, from this afternoon services will serve the following southside bus stops:

Lambeth Palace Road (stop SP) per the timetable for Abingdon Street
St. Thomas Hospital (stop C) per the timetable for Abingdon Street
Waterloo Road (stop M)  per the timetable for Embankment

Services will then cross Blackfriars Bridge to serve Puddle Dock, Cannon Bridge, Tower Hill and Canary Wharf. Departure times from Puddle Dock are per our timetabled time for Temple Tube.

Whilst following this diversion we will be unable to serve our timetabled bus stops on Millbank (Horseferry Road), Abingdon Street, Embankment, Temple Tube and Temple Avenue (HMS President).

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this causes to our passengers in Westminster and confirm that we will continue to monitor traffic conditions with a view to returning to our normal line of route as soon as we are able to.

As always we will keep you updated with the latest journey information via Twitter. Please be aware that it is not necessary to create a Twitter account in order to see our tweets. To view our Twitter updates without creating an account please click here.
