The South East Bus Festival was a magnificent occasion for Clarkes of London. As part of The Kings Ferry Group, it was the first time all four businesses showcased their fleet side-by-side. It was also a first for some of the staff meeting other members of the Group.

Breaking their previous record, the South East Bus Festival had 154 buses and coaches on show. The Group took 9 coaches and 1 bus from its fleet, the most amount of coaches brought by any one exhibitor to the show!

The Coaches

Coaches were brought from each of the Group companies; Clarkes of London, The Kings Ferry, Stewarts Coaches and Woods Coaches – a right family day out!

Clarkes of London

It was our third consecutive year exhibiting at the South East Bus Festival, and this year we took our stunning 2018 Irizar i6 Crawley Town FC Team Coach and 2018 Yutong TC9 VIP livery.

Stewarts Coaches

It was the first time Stewarts Coaches had been to the show. Travelling down from Reading to join us, they brought their two vehicles; 2015 Irizar i6 and 2019 Mercedes-Benz Citaro in its Slough Bath Road Central contract livery.

It was a superb day, despite the weather, and an impressive sight to see all our group lined up together. It reinforces that we are truly a people business, and our people show such pride and passion for what we do.

The presentation of the vehicles was impeccable, and were a credit to our businesses.”, exclaims Chris Burley, Group Operations Director.
